The Organization for Resilience and Community Empowerment, ORCE, is a locally initiated, community-driven, board-lead non-profit organization dedicated to fostering resilience, healing, and sustainable development in Ethiopia. We work with individuals and communities affected by conflict, displacement, and systemic challenges to provide holistic and context-sensitive support that restores dignity and hope.
To enhance individual and community resilience through accessible, culturally appropriate mental health and psychosocial support services, training, capacity building, and grassroots peacebuilding. We empower individuals to heal, grow, and manage their wellbeing, as we empower communities to strengthen their systems and help rebuild lives.
Grounded in compassion, collaboration, and inclusivity, our team is committed to delivering both direct rehabilitative services and long-term systems strengthening. We partner with local stakeholders, agencies, institutions, and communities to co-create solutions that address immediate needs while laying the foundation for a peaceful and empowered future.
At ORCE, we live our core values every day and in all our work toward a better future in which individuals not only survive, but thrive.
