ORCE employs an interdisciplinary biopsychosocial, cultural, and spiritual model in the design of its MHPSS services for the vulnerable and affected populations. We provide integrated mental health and trauma informed physiotherapy sessions. In Ethiopia, many individuals who have endured traumatic experiences manifest psychosocial and physical symptoms such as acute or chronic pain, heightened emotional distress, and decrease in their functioning.

ORCE’s survivor-centered approach includes providing tailored, integrated direct services:

  • Intensive mental health counseling
  • Trauma-informed physiotherapy
  • Trauma resilience workshops (TRW)
  • Crisis intervention
  • Grief intervention
  • Psychoeducation sessions
  • Single session therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Couple and marriage therapy
  • Substance use and addiction therapy
  • Psychiatry services
  • Staff support
  • Follow-up
  • Referrals
  • Home visit
  • Case management
  • Problem management

Our professional clinical staff specialize in trauma rehabilitation. With the support of specialist supervisors, they work with clients, combining evidence-based interventions with traditional concepts and customs that support healing.
